Prolinear 820 (non DSP), Multimix 16 Firewire, Powerbook G3 500
The title says it all. This weekend I replaced my Tascam 424 mkiii with the firewire Multimix. I was a little worried given the age of my computer, but it performed like a champ. This weekend I had 8 channels of audio running into the laptop with no problems at all. I think it sounds great, certainly an improvement over the cassette to my ears. The monitors are clean and clear, and so far, what I hear on them is translating very well to my other listening equipment. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase and just wanted to share.
