midi help

Hi, ive been using cubase for tracking live audio for ages but only recently tried some midi work, and I need help with two issues please

1. I'm using a vst instrument (monologue) controlled by midi, but cant seem to get it to pan in the stereo field, i adjust the panning but nothing seems to happen, any ideas what i'm doing wrong?

2. is there any way to apply reverb or eq to the output of a vst instrument in cubase? Is there some sort of intrernal routing mechanism to let me use vst plugins with a vst instrument?

thanks

click on devices up at the top and scroll down to 'mixer'. click on that and it'll open up the mixer window. in your mixer you'll have every audio and midi channel in your project. you'll have a midi channel for the track controlling your monologue vsti which is named whatever you named that track. or 'MIDI 01 if you didn't name it. ignore that one.

look for an audio track named monologue. it'll definately be in there somewhere. when you find it you'll see the <C> at the top, that's where you can pan it left or right. Also, if you click on the 'e' (in the little circle) it'll open up a window where you can load vst effects into its output.
