Audacity
ive found myself using audacity to mix my acoustic guitar. I just plug the fitted guitar's output to the line in, record, record over, etc. Its a free program and seems to work, but i get this static. Im using a p.o.s. chord. Is it the chord? is it the guitar or computer? Furthermore i have a very nice stanton mixer for turntables. perhaps this could help? Thanks!

If your mixer has a pre-amp, it might do the job as well. If you are really low-budget, try the mic-in of the sound card instead.

Running it through the mixer won't hurt, and is a reasonable solution for now. |
