So I go to school studying audio engineering and for one of our class projekts we rekord a band and mix. It was done in a pro setting with pro gear. The song is called "Macumba" and the band is VISIONQUEST from Central Florida.
Raw version: http://www.plastikmusik.net/mp3/macumbaraw.mp3 Mixed version: http://www.plastikmusik.net/mp3/macumbamix.mp3 Feedback appreciated! I like to try to answer questions! |

I offer the following comments.
1. The drums sound muted in both raw and mixed. As if a towel was over mics 2. Bass is too low in raw and too heavy in mixed. 3. Vocals sound weak in raw, but much better in mixed. 4. Guitar sounds a bit thin in mixed. Something more like raw might be better. My 2c. Ed |
