swap file?
Who or what is a swap file?
I got an error message from CE 2.1 just now, complaining that the file size was too big for the program to handle. Bullshit - it was about 400 megs. You know, ever since I moved from Win 98 to XP, the playback capacity of my machine hasn't been as good. I'm thinking of buying more RAM (I've got 512 right now). Anyway, the error message that I got from Cool Edit said I should 'increase swap file or paging file if using fixed swap file size'. Anybody know about this? Does it work? I checked the Help, but didn't find anything.
