Is there a freeware VST player

I came across this free VST guitar studio (amp simulators)

However, what programs or freeware are there to try it out ?

I think Audacity and Reaper both support VST and are freeware/shareware.

Kristal and Multitrackstudio Lite also are free recording apps that use VST plugs

thanks all --- I will try these, and see which works best

Reaper has MIDI, too, so I might go with that for my one-man-jams
