starting in audio restoration

I was thinking about starting up an audio restoration business. Can anyone give me some idea of what hardware and software i'll need. I was thinking of starting by just restoring and transferring records and tapes to CD and also maybe VHS to DVD. I don't have much. A PC, Cubase, and an Aardvark direct pro 24/96.
any suggestions would be helpful

thanks

Do you have any experience doing that kind of work? If not, that's really the first thing you'll need.

yes alittle experience while i was at school,. My plan was to practice on my records and movies first to get started. I was just looking for some idea of what sort of equipment i'd need to get started. mostly wanted to do it for family and friends and if i got good at it maybe i'd try my hand at starting a business

A good play back machine for what ever medium you want to record into your pc is a must. You will need one each for tape, LP, etc.

Also, a variety of styli and a really good preamp for your turntable.

A really good parametric eq (preferably outboard and not a plug-in) is a must.
