I'm using an Alesis Multimix 8USB to do some home acoustic recordings.
I have done some recordings before, and they sound beautiful, vibrant and bright. Lately, I've tried to lay down some new tracks, and anything I'm trying to record sounds so low and far away. I'm not sure if there is a setting on this mixer I may have nudged or what, but I don't know what to do. Perhaps it may be the guitar? Perhaps it may be cool edit pro? I need some help. |

I'd look at the gain controls on the mixer and the editor...
I feel quite certain it's not the guitar... If it was you'd hear it when you were playing.. Or are you recording through pickups on the guitar..?? -- Rob |
