Anyone have any experiance with one? Specs look good on paper but I'd like to hear from someone who has actually tried one.

I just bought one so I will see in the future. Just like you I thought the specs where great. I should have it by Christmas.

Just got mine so haven't fully experimented but basic recording quality is excellent as you would expect and very user friendly.
Built in post/pre effects are a real boon.
Certainly not a glitzy looking multitracker but who cares.
Sliders could be a bit more robust though and maybe a slightly bigger hard drive.
For the price Fostex look as though they've came up with a gem
