Ampeg SVT 215-E cab

400 RMS, 4 ohm cab. 2 front-firing 15" speakers in a vented cab. Big phat punchy sound, plenty of bottom. I've been using it for reggae, so it handles plenty of power with no worries. Gives a nice response to a full-range of freq's, down to a useable 50 Hz.

There is frayed Tolex, a grille that isn't fully snapping into place, and a big beer stain on the lower speaker. Casters and towel rack are in fine shape, and this cab shows no sign of problems, sound or construction-wise.

Asking $300, but I'll be interested in a partial (depends) trade for a decent 2x10 cab. I'm in the southern New England area (Smithfield), and can work out pick-up or delivery. You can also try it first if you want to come pick up.

...but, um, allright. It would probably be pretty exhorbitant, price-wise. I realize this thing costs $900 from Musician's Friend, though.

I do have a guy in my "neighborhood" who's mulling it over, but if it doesn't go, I'll let you know. I think it weighs at about 125 lbs- I don't have the physical specs in front of me. If you're serious, we'll look into it.
