I can't get it to work in Cool Edit Pro 2.0 , It works in fruity loops and Cubase tough

If you could help me on this one, that would be great !

Cool Edit Pro is not MIDI software even though CEP can play MIDI files.

yep, cool edit does'nt have support for vsti's.
