Treatment advice...

Here are some pics of my curent project studio. ITs only right now just for tracking band practice but i really want to expand on that. Right now i have a bunch of crappy foam, which works a little but not for a studio because its only temporary...Here is what i am asking. I want your advice on what to get to turn this in to a decnet basement studio. Now i know that it's a laughable situation when you see what i have to present you ( but i already know this) i just want to know what i need and where i need it, and where i can move things to make things sound better... I have a very odd room with lots of Parallel walls and corners and edges...and an odd shaped celing. I was thinking of some 703 and bass traps for tracking and mixing to get that good rock sound.... So please look at the pics i attached and get me all the advice you got
thanks a bunch

I don't see a problem with this room. Yes it is small and you have somethings to work out, but no room is perfect. Start by building some 4" panels out of rigid fiber glass and straddle as many corners as you can. This will help with the bass trapping in the room. Then I would build some 2 " panels to go on first reflections and for the ceiling (over the drums and the mix spot). If you can move your mix area so you are sitting 38% of the room length. It is best to fire the speakers down the longest wall (you would be facing the shortest wall). Start with that and see how things go.
