Hi all,

I just "upgraded" to version 5 (not VST32)and i can't record more than 2 tracks at a time at 44.1/24 bit. 16 bit seemed to work fine. Anyone have any ideas? My system:
Pentium 3, 450 Mhz
384mb RAM
Seagate SCSI hard drive
M Audio Delta 1010 card

The computer is pretty stripped down, for audio only, no internet, games, photoshop, nuthin'. While hardly state of the art, I gotta believe it's powerful enough just to record 8 tracks at once in 24 bit.

Thanks much,
-scott

Cubase 5.0 and Delta 1010

I, too, am having problems with consistently stable recording and playback of 24 bit multi-tracks using Cubase 5.0 and the Delta 1010. I suspect an incompatibility issue, and plan on contacting Steinberg tech support.

Also, there was a new set of drivers posted within the last week for the Delta.

I have not yet tried these.
