Dm24 And If/fw-dm Help please.

Hi everyone.

I have an issue here that is new - I must have screwed something up, because this worked before, but it now does not.

I use an 8 channel outbaord AD and IF/FW-DM with my DM24. While I can send tracks from either Cubase SX3 or Sonar 5 (I own licenses for both) to the DM24 fine, I cannot seem to record via the IF/FW-DM. I was previously able to, so I'm hoping it's some setting that I might have changed, but I don't see it not.

So, as I said, I can playback via the IF/FW, e.g., send from Cubase to IF/FW-DM channel 1, 2., etc.

However, I run my (outboard) preamps to my outboard AD conversion, which gets routed to channels 1-8. The signal shows up fine on the IF/FW-DM. I can them route that to stereo and monitor it, fine. I can also route it to any of the busses where the signal shows up nicely on the Monitor screem/Master M/F under BUSSES. It also shows up on my meter bridge.

In the IO menu page under Output, I have Busses 1-8/Direct 1-8 routed to TIF 1-8, Slot1 1-8, and Slot2 1-8 (Slot 1 is the IF/FW-DM).

So, the chain looks complete. However, when I try to record from from any of those channels in Cubase, I get no input signal. Now, I recently installed Cuabse, so maybe I don't have the busses installed properly, but I have the same problem under Sonar.

Can anyone think of any reason why the signal from Buss 1, when assigned to Slot1 1 in IO/Output, woudl fail to make it into Cubase or Sonar?

How can I diagnose the problem?

Have I left out any pertinent information?

Thanks in advance!
