If I'm using a soundblaster live in Cubasis should it always be used at 48k, rather than 44.1k (assuming of course that samples are set at 48k and 44.1k, respectively)? Will it improve timing, or just audio quality? Just that I've got this feeling that if I'm using 44.1 k samples with live!, timing might be out (since live! defaults to playback of 48k). Sorry if this is all rubbish. I'm getting confused! Thanks, in advance, for advice.

I just got Cubase and haven't really learned it yet. But I have heard that when using the Soundblaster Live you should always record at 48khz. There is an article about this on the Live Center website.
