iT Finally Happened
I think it was the stack that did it, the rents are finally setting aside half of the shed for music purposes, I think they've been wanting to do it or a while just the stack, I think it pushed it a little.
As far as I can tell we're going to be building a room within a room with carpet on the walls, and insulation within the walls and on the roof. I'll post pics when the construction has started (been told it'll e done in 6 weeks we have to move 17 years worth of shit out of the shed) but yet again we've been going to do this for about 4 years. Let's hope this time we keep on track

I dont know If you allready have done this.
But you should give this a read; ethanwiner.com... Lots of great info. Stay away from carpets on the walls!!!! Its a big fire hazzard, and its bad for accoustic, it will make your room unbalanced. Your better of with a hard surface, like plywood, ect. The carpets will only absord the higher frequencies, the low frequencies will still be a problem, and if I`m not mistaken the carpets will absorb the highs in a bad way, uneven. I`m just in the middle of learning this myself, so others may feel free to correct me. ![]()
