Arrow Comments/Critisism appreciated on new lyrics...

Hey

These are the lyrics to a new song that I wrote over the last couple days. Its more of a faced paced tempo song, and the chords are there if you manage to play guitar and get the idea. If not, then just lemmie' know waht ya think about the lyrics.

**Dust at our feet**

Capo 6th Fret
5:30

E, G, A, G

E, G, A, D-A

Verse 1:

We walked along an ocean, that doesn't have a shore
There was nothign stopping us from walkin' some more
A lake inside the sea, this truly can not be
But hey, in this world anything can happen...

My life's a destiny, one that won't be complete
Until there's nothing left unsaid or done
I'll hold you to your word, although it sounds obsurd
I think this moment will be with me in my dreams forever more...

Chorus:

C, G, Bm, C
C, G, Bm, Bm

Somedays the time just flies on by and you feel like ya gotta cry
There's nothing wrong with that.
Right now went by, it's in the past, the memories don't always last
But I Think this one will...

That's why... there's always dust at our feet
So we can always remember where we've been
I try... so hard to, make up my mind about decisions that are never very fun.

Verse 2:

Here we go again, I'm whistlin in the wind
My life could never get much better than this
I built a canopy, that has protected me
Not everything can be protected from the power's of the sun

Try not to turn around, results will be profound
Soon you will see that the dust has settled
Two's twice as good as one, and likley just as fun
So why not take the time to look for double.

Repeat Chorus:

Interlude :

Verse 3 :

That star that glows so bright, the one who hides all night
I'm talkin' bout' the one who represents love
He doesn't like me much, yet we both keep in touch
Without the sun we'd probly die, but then again who knows in this world <--- ???

Repeat Chorus:

Thanks !

Cool Lyrics guitarist_44 - I'm getting a kind of sci-fi/time warp feeling from them.

As always I'd love to hear this with music so I can get a feel for the rhythm, melody and the phrasing. Post a clip when you egt the chance!

PS - Oh yeah - I noticed you're from Winnipeg. I lived there until I was 12 in St. Norbert. I used to travel for what seemed like hours on the bus to go downtown to browse the stores or go to Chippewa for Navy Cadets - cool!
