Cool Soundcraft M12

Hi There fellow pilgrims! I finally abandoned my MD8 for greater headaches. It's gone to a good home thanks to Ebay. I am now the proud owner of a Korg D1600MK11. I also purchased a Soundcraft M12 desk so far so good. A big change getting used to the computer based setup with it's menus compared to the MD8 with it's dedicated knobs. I need your advice on inserting, 1. A Compressor 2. A Quadraverb 3. A MEQ230. How. Where, and in which order. I have been reading, and there are different opinions and scenarios concerning the way to acomplish this.. Someone once said, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing" I'm beginning to think they are right. Any Thoughts! Gerry.
