portable road-worthy VSTs?
Are there any keyboards and/or rack units that support loading virtual PC instruments or does one need a laptop to take such instruments on the road?

look at the open labs keyboard
http://openlabs.com/products/products.htm it plays soft synth patches at 96k kind of $$$ though
