Eurotrack UB802 Mixer settings?

I'm new to recording when it comes to using a mixer with it. I just got a Eurotrack UB802 Mixer and a decent condenser mic and I don't know what to set the knobs on. How do I know what to set each knob on. Someone please help.

Here's my mixer:

Yeah, all to 10!!!

But seriously, the reason the knobs turn is that there are no settings that work for everything. You have to actually use the knobs and figure out how you like them.

i use that same mixer. the black gain knob for inputs one and two, i have realized those are how "sensitive" you want to set the microphone/other input. i always run mics into those two inputs, and with guitars, i set them as low as it goes, with vocals i put it around where it says +4. then, for guitars, i will adjust accordingly the volume knobs (it helps to plug your headphones in to listen what you are mixing). then use the main master out knob to adjust how much all the inputs are coming out. it outputs how loud/quiet your final mix is.

hope it helps!
