Additional Effects...for Cool Edit Pro
Question: Are there any additional effects out there to be had for Cool Edit Pro besides the built-in ones?....I think I've read here that Cool Edit Pro doesn't support VST plug-ins...is that correct?
Anyone know of any that will integrate with Cool Edit?...I have Soundforge and Acid (earlier versions)...but haven't used them much. Are they any on there that integrate with Cool Edit> Do you have to open each program import the file, run the effect then import back into Cool Edit? Thanks in advance!!! Brian |

Hi Brian
Cool will work with all DX plugins, and there are a ton of those. Cool will also work with VST plugins if you have a little application which will 'read' VST applications inside Cool. You can download one of these applications for free; do a search on the internet. They're called 'wrappers'. |
