Hmm, hard to tell really.
If we at least had a link to a downloadable mp3. it'd be easier to tell. So with things like rms levels, peak levels, and pretty much any sort of analasys aside. And it's a style of music I never listen too... It seems loud... but kind of scooped sounding. A lot of bass, and a whole lot of treble... "smiley face" EQ. But not enough midrange "body" to it. Also, I can SEE my monitors flapping around, looks like somewhere under the 30Hz range. I think it could use some subsinic filtering to tighen up the bass and give the mids some room. Overall, not horrible. I've heard worse. |

Without hearing the unmastered version for reference, there is really no way to evaluate the mastering job.

thats completely true what scrubs said...this sounds like a good mix, but as far as mastering is concerned this aint worth commenting on as i havent heard anything to compare it with. Post the original.

Too much high end to my liking.
The high end is just sizzzling too much and it lacks a little body in the mids. |

He asked for an opinion so I gave him one. Actually, I never said the job was bad, it's just that as a listener, the highs irritated me. |

I like the original mix much better... There's a LOT of noise and additional distortion in the new file.
And the high end... That's painful. It's *soooo* distorted on the gang vox... And the lows are flopping around everywhere. Yup - I like the original mix. It's a little veiled, but it's not nasty. |

this is exactly wat i was looking for, also this is the reason i need new monitors, or maybe it was the medication for the work injury.
i am working on fixing these problems right now ya'll |
