Yamaha MW10

i recently purchased a yamaha mw10 usb mixer, but i am planning on returning it. The quality of it is great. Great sounds too, but i was under the impression that it would output each channel as a seperate track on cubase, but it doesnt. So i am wondering if anybody knows a good quality mixer that has some effects on it, for around 200 bucks range?? thanks!!

Have you tried using the inserts?

However if it's usb1.1, they have miniscule bandwidth so 2 tracks is about all you'll squeeze down that pipe

what inserts are u talking about?? i hear that with the alesis firewire mixers, they can output each channel as a seperate track, so each instrument/channel can be edited seperately?
