The best vocal recording program?

I really dont know... I've been using Acid Pro for raps/voice overs/ effects etc. but when I went and tested some microphones at Sam Ash the other day the guy told me that I should use DP or od.. ???

cakewalk? acid? logic? etc.???
i dunno... what you guys think?

You need a preamp with phantom power, not just a phantom power supply by itself. Whether it's one channel of a mixer or a one- or two-channel preamp doesn't really matter unless you're after some really special high-end preamp.

The software you use doesn't matter as far as quality goes; anything will do as good a job as anything else.

This was a funny thread...but in Bangtizzy's defense, fraserhutch shouldn't have just assumed you are stealing software. That's being prejudice and I thought America was past that phase.

However, Bangtizzy, you do need to grow up. You are beating a dead horse. You had a question, it got answered, move on.
