Does any body own a Yamaha MD-4S I am looking for info about the power supply. Is it a switchable/universal in side but just a different plug for other countries. ie 110 to 220 I was thinking to buy one in North America and have one sent over to Norway. would any body know or send me in the right direction.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean - but I have an MD8, and the transformer is INSIDE the unit, like on a playstation for example. You can find a manual at http://www.yamaha.com . their tech support is good also, so you might ask them.

For example a computer power supply is changable by moving a switch in the back 110 to 220.... many monitors have automatic sensors to change 110 or 220 so it does not burn up your monitor.

So my guess is Yamaha selling internationaly would not make two or three different types but make just one with a switchable power transformer..
