Need a card for the #2 machine. E-Mu 1212M?

I'm looking for help on a moderately priced card for what will be our general purpose p/c. (The old DAW is stepping down.
A decent pair of a/d-d/a, one Adat light set (to keep it a possible back-up to my primary audio loop) and spdif coax would do it.
This one has the features but there doesn't seem to be much comming up on search. (and has E-Mu learned to play well with Windoz?)
Any others or recommendations appreciated too.

Thanks in advance.
Wayne

I currently use the 1212m. I'm only partially pleased with it though.

The conversion sounds good to my ears and the adat/spdif works great, but the card has has issues jiving with 2000xp(at least my version). Everything will run fine for months, then I'll have no playback. Settings seem to change mysteriously, so I'll change them back and it runs as planned. Once I even had to re-install the card. Keep in mind I puchased my 1212 2+ years ago. This may be a non-issue now with the newer models. I think these glitches may have been worked out.

Bugs aside, I'm pretty happy with mine.

I take that back. I just reinstalled it again today.

I hope this post makes sense to whomever felt the need to take some all important rep points away from me for my "assinine posts." I never meant to bore you. Thanks alot.

Well I for one appreciate your input. You took the time.
Are there possible driver updates available that you could try? Someone over at Sonar mentioned good support from the company.

I just got off the phone with emu and I'm very happy to say the least. They held my hand through the entire process of diagnosing my particular problem. Finding driver updates was a snap too. Knowing this, I would completely recommend the 1212m.
