Help with Lyrics

Well im a young kid, 16, And im into the hip hop scene. I wanna learn how to do all those complex rhyme schemes and clever lyrics. But apparently my rhymes are too generic. Ive made some recording with my friend, and people always say he is better than me. I know we're both new to this but i dont want to always be the odd one out. I want to learn how to improve.
Any one have any comments or help?

Here is our soundclick with our songs, Im Ca$h.

You Don't Know - cool
Cash - One of the set of vocals are thinner on the mix I listened to. You should try to make them thicker so they balance a bit more. If you were doing the last verse I think it is the thicker one. That same (thicker) vocalist was better sounding and had better lyrics throughout - hope that was you. But in any case, practice practice practice....and copy as many of your favorite hip hop artists as you can so you build a repetoire that you can use to improvise. I've been doing R&R for fun for a lotta years and I'm just starting to get some self-confidence on my tunes. And get feedback from others (like here) it's always helpful. Good Luck man......
