Sabian AAX Studio or Stage?

I'm either getting a 16" Studio or Stage Crash from AAx from Sabian. ANyone like one over the other?

Both suck. I prefer Zildjians, but if I had to choose, I'd usually go with the studios. I don't like really loud, brash cymbals......so there ya go.

I had a set of AAX Stage hihats that were absolutely amazing sounding!!

So much so that someone else decided they needed them more than me.

studio, definately. stage if ur a metal band

I actually have one of each, and I find the studio model to be brighter. The stage is darker and has a longer decay.

Thanks I ended up getting a studio. And I don't think Sabians are liek that all. I pretty much like Zildjian and Sabian the same. I have mixed cymbals. But Id probably go ith Sabian. But thats not what this thread isabout.

Me too. Both blend very well, good combination I think.

I own these too, they will always be on my kit.


as for the AAX crash, have you checked out the explosions? great cymbals.
