Need opinions from people with monitors.

It's more the EQ in the mix I think. Like the Hats, Snare and Claps can be more bright...

louder maybe.It seemed too loud on my speakers so I tuned them down.I 'll try raising the volume and prolly raising the highs and mids a bit.

What kind of speakers you got?

Rigged up surround speakers from a cheap 5.1 set up, hooked up to a really cheap sub.5 dollar headphones and 10 dollar heaphones to alternate.Sad aint it.

Hell, I mix my tracks off of a pair of $10 headphones. People don't believe me until they actually see me do it though lol. \

I just know what the phones tell me and trust their judgment for the most part.

Ya, it's funny. Folks see me mix on nice studio speakers and then I use some $7 headphones and $15 cpu speakers. They look at me funny. Then I say, "You gotta know how it sounds cause no one at home is gonna play it on these studio speakers, right."

And plus, I find myself getting use to the studio speakers. I get clients who say, "Man. why does it sound so nice in here." I think what do they mean, it sounds normal to me. I realize I just get spoiled...

So ya, it's all bout how you use what you got!

I got behringer truths. I also have an untreated room Apartments suck. I was gonna move a while back but the trailer was a bad deal. I had went inside and decided where everything was going. I had a bigger booth(closet) to work with But, little problems were seen here and there that would turn into big problems. Sorry about the rabit chase, but when i get out of the apartment craze, i'm gonna sound proof me a room so i can mix even better. These brick walls are drivin me insane!!!
