I've been to a couple of Digi's free workshop like that. One was to get a peak at v.7 before it was actually released, the second to see what the big deal about HD Accel was.

They're usually fairly informative, you can pick up a trick or 2 if you're paying attention, and they aren't boring. They are also advertisments- clinics designed to show off the stuff.

If you can't make it... you really aren't missing a whole lot. If you can make it, its fun. Know what I mean?
