getting rid of the amp's FAN noise
i'm close miking the amp----and the sound of the fan is captured in the recording
????what to do?

it's a combo amp.....marshall avt275
and in quiet tracks---clean guitar---the fan sound is noticeable

The only solution I can think of is to get or make a speaker cab and move it away from the amp. Maybe $20 worth of plywood and mount your amp's speaker in it.
