ATTACK Drumheads...

Hey. Are the ATTACK heads good heads? I got some coming from ebay so I would like to hear some opinions on these heads. Thanks!

Well, I've used the Terry Bozzio signature heads, and they are very nice.

I really don't like them. I can't describe the sound, but it really sucks on certain drums.

Never touched them. Although Bozzio endorses them, I don't really like his tone in the first place! They probably aren't TOO bad, better than the stock heads you get with a new kit.

I dont care for them. Used on the snare a few times just because it was real cheap. I'd rather spend a few more bucks and get a good one.

I got a Pearl Free floater off of Ebay, I couln't get that stupid thing to sound good no matter how I tuned it. I even changed the top head 3 times. I turned it upside down and there was an attack head on the bottom. I changed that to an ambasador and the snare came alive.

I tried Attack heads on some toms several years ago when I worked in a drum shop (I tried everything cause I could buy it at such a low cost).

I did not really like the tone (I tried them on a set of Premier Birch drums - 10", 12" and 14" toms) they were too flat sounding.

But, each person has thier own opinion - hopefully you'll like them (since you already ordered them).
