No Pre-amp Control on Superbass.
I have a Marshall Superbass Mk 2 100w amp head.
It doesn't have a master volume control just 4 separate input controls as well as Presence, Treble & Bass. I use it for guitar & bass. It has a great sound but with no pre-amp to push hard it basically takes a fair cranking to get a big sound from it. Other than using an outboard preamp or pedal is there anyother trick to getting that Marshall sound with out the MASSIVE volume? |

Hot Plate.
Which is too expensive for my blood, I would just use one of these: http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage....ctGroup_ID=340 Or for something adjustable: http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea...570766&Site=US Also I've seen those in audio taper before, I have some monitors with 'em, but I can't seem to source those. |
