Evans eq3 - needs to be replaced

i have a Evans eq3 and it came on the used set i bought, it's in pretty good condition- but way way to deep for me i can't even hear it when i'm playing- what head should i buy to replace this?

Did you try tightening it up? I have one on my kit right now and it's all right, but I did need to crank it up more than the Aquarians I usually use. The EQ3 came with a pack of Evans tom heads and I thought 'why not'... I prefer Aquarian SuperKick II heads, they're punchy and have good tone.

thanx alot tightening it up really helps- it wasn't really that loose- but a little ightening does alot i guess lol
