Unhappy

Can anyone help me?

I've just got my VR800 and VM200 set up. It connected all the right bits to all the right places. I can use the the mixer indipendantly from the VR800 and the little "Digital" indicator on the VR800 says it's reading the signal correctly from the mixer...

...Yet when I try to record there is no sign of any input into the VR800 and there is no sound when I try play back.

I've been through the manuals a few times I still nothing works. I'm either doing something very simple and stupid wrong or there is something seriously wrong with the gear.

Please help...someone...it's driving me crazy...

Ricardo, be sure that you do the following:
Press the Routing/Phase button until you get 1:Routing screen.
Press the EQ EDIT buttons of the corresponding channels that you want to record.
the screen should display a darkened rectangle corresponding to the channel number and DIRECT (You will now be routing these channels to ADAT) The recorder should have the same channels selected for recording.

Refer to pages 16 in the VR800 Quick Operation Guide
and to page 66.

Hope this helps Good luck

Talking

Rish, I could kiss you! It works! It works!

However, I must've been very stupid not to have worked that out myself
