You know the movie the jerk? Navin and (girl) are strolling along the beach and Navin whips out the uke and plays "Tonight You Belong to Me" and it's a great Uke / vocal song.

THe song was written in 1926 by Billy Rose and Lee David, but popularized in 1956 by Patience and Prudence. The chord forms are here...http://www.alligatorboogaloo.com/uke/tabs/030308-2.html

Talking Coolest Ukelele Ever

I saw the coolest uke I've ever seen at Elderly Instruments in Lansing MI (my home town). Shaped like an airplane and made around 1917 or so ????
May still be on their website. Also sounded great. Several of us passed it around and had a go. I never knew so many metalheads and jazz-fusion players dug the uke. Surprise-surprise...lol

Grn,
My all-time favorite Ukelele song is "Happy Ukulele" by Pure Heart. Very happy sounding and upbeat. It's awesome.

(Jake Shimabukuro plays the uke)
