Descendants-ish punk band.

Here's the latest. Just wanted some critique on how it sounds.

snare: beyer m201 > chameleon labs 7602
kick: d112 > chameleon labs 7602
ohs: mxl 603s > soundcraft m12
rack toms: senn 609s > m12
floor tom: behringer b1 > m12

bass guitar: soundelux u195 > m12

guitars1: beyer m201 > chameleon labs 7602
guitars2: soundelux u195 > chameleon labs 7602

vox: soundelux u195 > chameleon labs 7602

All though delta 1010 into sonar 3.1.1. Used uad-1 plugs and some other random free plugs from the interweb.

The guitar tone is pretty unique and I didn't like it at first, but yeah, it's what he played and what their 'sound' was, so there you have it.

This was one cool and catchy song. I like it. Sounds pretty fine to me
Maybe vocals are a little too low. Just a little bit.

love the song, very old school. My only suggestion, guitars should be a little higher in the mix.

Very cool song, this is the type of music i mostly listen to.I agree with that statement above about the guitars should be a little higher.

Did you add some reverb to the snare? It sounds too loud, but also set back in the mix, as if you added some 'verb and then brought up the volume a lot. That's really my only thing, other than that, I liked the mix.

No verb on the snare. Might just be the room sound or something.

very punk. the drums and guitar could have a little more bite to them, but overall - good catchy tune.

It is an individual guitar tone - rather like playing down a drain pipe but it sounds sight for the song except I'd have cut some mids & added some highs with it.
I like the song & the overall mix though the bass needs a little definition given the guitar sound.
Other than those little crits I say well captured.

i agree the guitar tone is thin, but it sounds so fitting to my ears for the genre.. kind of old school feel. So I'd personally keep it if that's what you were going for. Cool punky sounds overall.
