Has anyone has recent experience with this? I've seen one for Buy It Now on Ebay for £225 and it has me intrigued...

I've got one. Had a bluetubes DP, took it back. Not bad unit, just tried out the Gold after and that was it! Great pre-amp. Tried some others as well, this is HUGELY undervalued at it's price. For a home studio, at it's price, it should serve you well.
