comment on my mix!

just finished this for my band. im trying to get a really heavy sound here

drums were done in dkfh, the vocals guitar and bass were all recorded with a podxt

Nice mix. Nice tune. Good performances. Drums are programmed, though, no? I don't really think the drums sound convincing, as a critic, but I dig the sounds you are getting out of your POD. Not bad for digital wish-wosh. Good job, man.

The drums do need more depth or some EQing.
You've probably encountered my attitude to the guitar sound before. It works but...
The riff it pretty cool.
The bass seems to be a bit of a handbag however.
