MicroKorg and Reason

I just got a MicroKorg and it sounds great but I want to control Reason 3 with it as well. Keys, Pitch, and Mod wheels sink up but I cannot get the 1-5 edit controls to be detected in Reason. Does anyone know how to assign these to parameters in Reason?
Thanks T

is the midi indicator showing that there is incoming data when you move the controls?

The midi indicator flashes but there are no change in the reason parameters. Tried right clicking and remote overide but this did not work. I did notice that midi channel (7) always works no matter what you assign it to, but none of the other channels. Any ideas?

Try going into the 'Preferences/Control Surface' page and choosing 'Korg' then '<Other> (MIDI Keyboard w Controls)'.

You may need to try a shareware program called Midi-Ox --- LINK --- to find out what those five edit controllers are sending over midi.

I don't an explanation for the channel 7 thing without more info...

Thanks ssscientist that helped!! Im still not sure if it is running correctly. Now the controls work but there is a lot of cross-talk, some of the controls are running more than one parameter at once (i.e.: Knob 4 controls Filter 1's release, and the portamento control on the Subtractor). I can remote override objects now so that is a big plus!! Ill probably have to go through and turn off some CC#'s. You think they would just assign a driver for this thing since it’s so popular. This is more of a pain in the neck than i had hoped, I should have just got a USB controller. I will look into the Midi OX maybe that will help. Thanks again for the help.
Later T
