Small Midi Controller

What's a good small midi controller? I don't need 88 keys, I have a keyboard for that, I just want something small enough to sit on my desk that I can make some bass (and occassionally, drum) tracks with. Does M-Audio make anything that's "desktop" sized? If not, who else?

M-audio oxygen8, M-audio O2, edirol PCR30, lots of others. Most around $100.

Zzounds are good people to do business with - and they help sponsor this site!

I have had one of these for about a year: http://www.zzounds.com/item--EDIPCRM30

I paid $200 for mine and don't regret it a bit. The knobs and sliders are fun to play around with when using soft synths. I also use the knobs and sliders to control the mixer in cubase. As far as drums, I really don't like using a keyboard but to each their own.
