Need part for a recorder

I purchased an Aria StudioTrack 4 R504 which has a blown drive motor. The part number is: Sankyo BFV2L43

I have spent the past couple of weeks sending emails and calling electronics surplus houses all over the country but, no one has one of these motors nor has any idea of its specs. DC voltage going to the motor is around 15-16vdc coming from a basic diode bridge circuit. This is not a stepping motor as there is no controller circuit in this unit for that type of motor.

I would really like to get this recorder in working condition. I've pretty much given up hope of finding this exact motor. However, I believe that a motor can be found which will serve just fine as a replacement. Is there anyone out there that can help?
