korg microkorg

should i buy one?
how could i go about recording with it?

could you be more specific? what type of music do you want to play? what features are you looking for in a keyboard?... perhaps you should just go to a local music store and try it out for yourself or use the search function on this site.

I have had one since christmas and I love it. I use it for home recording, and generally love the sounds and size. I also use it as a MIDI controller to the PC.

One downside for many is that the keys are small sized so no fat fingers allowed. If you have more specific questions then post away.

Oh yeah recording can be done from the outputs directly into the PC line or a mixer or audio interface. You can also use it to record MIDI.

get the Korg MS2000b instead, its the same synth plus a step sequencer, real keyboard and has alot of controls for the programming , a hell of alot easier to use than the micro korg.

Well lets ignore the fact that it's twice the price then

I just can't see how it could be easier to use than the MicroKorg, better yes but easier to use ? an odd selling point

i don't know about the ms2000b, but i HAVE been looking at the ms2000.
