germanium components

I saw recently that there is now black boxes on the market with germanium parts

which I thought interesting as the old gear like fuzz faces, vox contintel organs, farfisa burns orbits & probably many more all used germanium parts

I wonder if the common dude is allowed access

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

'Germanium' parts? They must be worth a lot of money, I think the Romans fought the Germanians in the first century, so the fact that these artifacts survive from that time is pretty cool!

Not sure how good their music technology was in those days. Apparently Emperor Hadrian's soft-synths were quite good though.

antique soft synths

if you were dislexic it could be geraniums (I think that's how you spell it)...................organic soil grown soft synths
