Question Korg D3200 ??

Well I have gotten many many years of use out of my good ol' Tascam portastudio with cassette tape. But I'm ready for the next thing... I have been looking at the Korg D3200 and it's very tempting, I'm curious if anybody has any advice, suggestions or warnings about my next purchase. I am also looking at buying this package from Musician's Friend which includes the D3200, microphones and other things....

Let me know what you think!!

There's a whole Korg forum which can help -- it's at www.korgstudios.com and reading that helped convince me to get the D3200 as the unit with by far the best features/cost ratio as well as good build quality. I've only had mine for a week and haven't had much time to work with it -- I'm looking forward to this weekend for being able finally to start learning it.

The package looks like a good package -- I've never seen a bad deal from Musician's Friend. My only suggestion would be to visit a Guitar Center near you (if possible) to listen to those monitors, compared to the M-Audio BX8a monitors. I'm planning on buying the BX8a monitors in the near future, since I'll be using them for more than simply monitoring my recordings and so I want more bass from them. If you'll only be using them for recording monitors the BX5a should be fine.
