This is probably the most discussed mic on this board, with the possible exception of the Studio Projects C1. Do a search.

I like them in pairs on acoustic guitar and overheads...some say it's too bright for overheads some say it's just right. I think it depends on the cymbals and the room and of course the mix.

i like em alot for the price. some say they sound brittle but i disagree, with good placement the are very good sounding mics as oh. i just posted a somng under "old school thrash metal" in the mp3 section where i used em as oh. alot of the toms actually come from them and not the close mics.
