First, its an SE2200A not a Z2200A
The Z2200 is an older no longer made sE microphone. Second, they ( 2200 and 3300)are 2 different mics. The SE2200A is cardioid only and has less of a high end emphasis whereas the Z3300A provides cardioid, omni and figure 8 patterns and provides more emphasis on the higher end (ie it will sound brighter). If the male voice needs an emphasis on the high end, then the 3300 is the way to go. If the male voice does not need that added emphasis, then perhaps the 2200 is the way to go. It depends on the voice and the sound you are looking for. If these were my only choices, I'd go with the 3300 as you can always eq out some of the highs but you cant put something there thats not there to begin with (although you can try).
