How to Midi trigger a Bass thru an Aleiss Q8

I am recording a Hard Core band, and would like to experement with a midi trigger. Can this be done thru my Q8 keyboard? Since I always am on my "pure" sound kick I never use midi Some help or links would be very helpful.

Well, do you have any kind of TMI?

How do you plan to convert a trigger's pulse into a MIDI signal? You'll need a D$ or a DM5, or something that has a Trigger to MIDI converter built into it.
