Firewire Laptop Question
Hi. I want to do some recording with my laptop so I will need an audio interface. The problem is my laptop doesn't have a firewire port, does anyone know if firewire ports can be installed in laptops? Or am I stuck using a USB interface for recording?
Thanks. |

You can get a pcmcia firewire card for you laptop and then you have firewire.
It plugs right into that little slot on the side of you laptop. I used one with my old laptop and it worked fine.
