non fiction biography for school?

Hello, im only posting this here because im not sure where else i would. And since you probly get alot of kids asking for books, maybe you'll have an idea.

Im basically stuck with a book report for school, and instead of doing somthing too generic, i might as well enjoy myself and get somthing different this time around.

So what im asking is if anyone has any ideas of non-fiction acounts/biographies on anything recording related, or music industry related?


any help would deffidentally brighten up this project, and maybe i can learn from it too..that would be cool.

I'm a big fan of Rupert Neve, he has done a lot to help progress our field; and it's safe to say we wouldn't be recording the way we do now if it weren't for him. I've actually written 3 papers on him during high school, college, and recording school. Very interesting fellow.
